Permits & Planning

Do I need a survey before construction?

A survey is wise when work is near property lines, easements, setbacks, shared fences, or uncertain boundaries. Contractors should not guess legal boundaries.

Project-specific advice matters: Site conditions, local requirements, weather, access, soil, loads, and selected materials can change the right answer for a particular property.
