Concrete

How long should I wait before walking on new concrete?

Light foot traffic is commonly allowed after about 24 to 48 hours, depending on temperature, mix design, finishing, and curing conditions. Avoid dragging furniture or placing concentrated loads on the slab during the early curing period.

Project-specific advice matters: Site conditions, local requirements, weather, access, soil, loads, and selected materials can change the right answer for a particular property.
